SLJ – Poetry Slam Shape Poem

I did a task called poetry slam rua.

First I needed to get some idea to make a shape poem.

Next I made my poem. The shape is diamond. The type of poem is diamante.

Lastly I recorded reading my poem.

I enjoyed this task because I could make a shape poem. I did well on making the poem. I need to improve on recording the video.

SLJ – Super Seesaw

I did a task called Super Seesaw.

First I used the items from the nano girl treasure hunt to make a catapult.

Next I made a video using my catapult.

I enjoyed this task because I enjoyed making the catapult. I did well on tieing the stick to the tube. I need to improve on making the catapult stable.

One Line Art

I did a task called One Line Art.

First I looked at some one line drawing. I drew a deer on paper.

Next I practise drawing the deer. After I took a video of me drawing.

I enjoyed this task because I never drew in one line before. I did well on drawing the deer. I need to improve on taking the video.

SLJ – Trickshots (Step it up)

I learnt how to do trickshots.

First I looked at some trickshots. Some trickshots were: the basketball shoot, penalty kick (soccer), and throw rubbish to a bin from 10 metres.

Next I did a basketball trick with my buddy using a timer. My buddy got it in 12 seconds and I got it in 1 minutes 23 seconds.

Lastly I edited the video using Wevideo.

I enjoyed this because I learnt how to do trickshots. I need to improve on practising my aim. I did well on editing the video.

TrickShot Video

SLJ – Tiki Tour

I did a task called SLJ – Tiki Tour.

First I made a copy of a google slide.

Next I wrote down the places. First I would go to Coromandel, Next I would go to the Waitomo Caves, Then I would go to Rotorua, after I would go to Queenstown, and lastly I would go to Cape Reinga.

I enjoyed this because I learnt about places. I did well on finding places. I need to improve on explaining.

SLJ – TrickShot

I did a task called Trickshot.

First I looked at the video to see some trickshots.

Next I practised doing the trick. I decided to do two tricks. Both tricks need soccer skills.

I enjoyed this task because I like to do trick shots. I need to improve on doing more harder trickshots. I did well on the trickshots.

 

SLJ – Recreating Portrait

I did a task called recreating portrait.

First I looked at some famous portraits. For example: Mona Lisa and Vertumnus.

Next I chose a portrait  Rudolf Hausner) and made the item that was on thr portrait which was: a hat.

I enjoyed this because I learnt how to recreate a portrait. I did well on making the equipment needed. I need to improve on thinking about the back ground.

SLJ – Poetry Slam (Step it up)

I did a task called Poetry Slam (Step it up).

First I looked at one of the examples. I looked at Sahil’s poem.

Next I went to a quiet place and read Sahil’s poem.

I enjoyed this task because I like poetry. I need to improve on understanding the poem. I did well on reading the poem.

SLJ – Its Cool to be Kind (Step it up)

I did a task called its cool to be kind (step it up).

First I needed to make a copy of a google slide. I used the tool on the slide to help me craft my te reo maori comment.

Next I posted the comment on emmanual’s blog.

I enjoyed this task because I learnt how to comment in Te Reo Maori. I did well on writing the comment. I need to improve understanding the maori words.

Reading

I revised on what we learned in the past 3 weeks.

First we learnt purpose, user, stakeholder. Purpose is why the object was made, The user is who uses the object, Stakeholder is a person who invest something and makes money, fame.

Next we learnt about controversty. Controversy is when 2 groups of public belelive that a object is good or bad. For example: people think that the earth is flat but the earth is round.

Lastly we learnt the history of our topic (Piano).

I enjoyed this task because my group and I created a quiz with all the things we learnt. I did well on learnting the history of piano.  I need to improve on learnting the controversty and purpose, user, and stakeholder.
